Outdoor Learning
We take the health and wellbeing of our children very seriously. We believe that outdoor learning is vital to children's development both physically and mentally. The Woodland Trust say...
Teaching children outdoors encourages curiosity and stimulates all the senses in a way that indoor learning simply can't do.
Education research by King’s College London has found that children who spend time learning in natural environments perform better in academic studies.
Exploring the natural world makes other school subjects, such as reading, mathematics, science and social studies, more relevant and truly gets children excited about learning.
At F&B we are very lucky to have a woodland space that our children can escape to for fun and enriched learning opportunities. Our fabulous and supportive PTA have recently dedicated funds to our woodland so that we can create an even more stimulating and fun learning space.
